Oleg Matytsin wished SibFU success on launching the Festival and starting its bidding campaign on hosting the World Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk. ?The representatives of the International delegation of students sports visited Krasnoyarsk in summer this year. We could see regional resources including rich sports infrastructure, facilities for research and education, Siberian federal University, their central node and base, experience of hosting international competitions. These resources are the necessary prerequisites for starting a bidding campaign?, — President of Russian Student Sports Union said.

According to Oleg Matytsin, ?we understand the importance of developing student sports and we think that the Festival initiated by the RF Ministry of Education and Research and the Russian Student Sports Union is a promising initiative. It will act as an innovative site, a model for staging complex competitions among students. Hosting a second festival tends to be more difficult as it is more important.
