Nikita Melnikov, a student from the Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism, won a gold medal at the World Student Championship in Greco-Roman Wrestling among students weighing less than 96 kilos on 5-6 October 2012.

Konstantin Shipaev, a student from the Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism, won a bronze medal competing with students weighing less than 74 kilos.
