Competition of young innovators at SibFU

'Young Innovator' Competition was completed at SibFU on 12 December 2012. The final stage included 12 projects.

  • The winner is Igor Chuprov, a doctoral student from the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals and Materials Science. The title of the project is 'Energy-efficient, heat conductible paste "THERMALCoRe“: nano structures and carbon materials'.
  • The second place went to the project 'Online School' persented by Maxim Shlegel, Edgar Yaunzems, Valentina Artemeva, and Andrey Varsan.
  • The third place was shared by two projects:
    • ?Nanostructured materials and products made of raw materials and wastes?&苍产蝉辫;— the authors are Igor Kostin and Alexander Bezrukikh from the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals and Materials Science;

    • ?Solar Silicon?&苍产蝉辫;— the team is from the Institute of Business, Management and Economics and it includes Pavel Egorov, Anna Klepach and Elizaveta Gupalova

The competition was held by the Department of Innovation Consulting at the Devision of Reserach and Innovation, SibFU. It was supported by New Eurasia Foundation.

The competition aimed to find out the best innovations in marketing, technology and management developed by undergraduates, graduate and doctoral students, and young researchers.

Lidia Ischenko, head of the Innovation Consulting at SibFU, said the participants attended a training session on developing projects, patent research and financial models.

?It was for the first time that projects were presented by teams from different institutes. Future engineers, lawyers, economists and biologists worked together. Everybody had a chance to present their projects,&苍产蝉辫;— Lidia Ischenko said.&苍产蝉辫;— The best projects will be awarded with money prizes. The winner will get 80,000 roubles?.
