The programmes’ final stage is an oral examination, the studies result in obtaining a Candidate of Sciences degree or .

Some programmes are taught in English (Metal Processing; Metallurgy of Ferrous, Non-Ferrous, and Rare Metals; Optics; Biophysics; Real, Complex, and Functional Mathematical Analysis; Urban and Rural Architectural Planning).

The deadline for submitting applications is 1 December 2014. Documents to be submitted with your application are:

• application form (in Russian);
• an ID or international passport;
• a higher education certificate or its notarized copy (from a higher education institution recognized in the RF);
• a Russian notarized translation of a higher education certificate;
• 4 photos (3×4 cm).

Your name on Russian notarized translations should be exactly the same as the name on your entry visa document.

Entry requirements: applicants take oral examinations in the following subjects:

the program examination (consult the requirements for the program of your choice)
philosophy,
a foreign language.
