An important programme requirement is proficiency in the German language at C1 level. This year's students are from Russia (2 students) and Germany (2 students).

German Yakoby, a Master's student, says he visited Passau as a Bachelor's student on the academic mobility programme. He will study in Germany again in October to learn about German law. ?I decided to get enrolled as soon as I knew about the programme launch. Several employers approached me with job offers in Moscow and Saint Peteresburg after graduation but I thought a Master's programme might be a better choice. It might trigger an opportunity for qualitatively different career growth?.

Prof. Dr. Hans-Georg Dederer says that many German students like the idea of working in Russia so the launch of this unique programme is important for both sides. ?Moscow and Saint Petersburg have the branches of numerous German companies. The programme's graduates will be also in demand in Germany with its branches of Russian companies. They will be useful for both countries and they will be quite in demand in their field?.
