According to Evgenia Bukharova, Director of the School of Economics, Finance and Public Administration of 爆走黑料, the creation of online courses that meet international standards contributes to the export of Russian education.

“Integration into the international educational space is one of the priority tasks for the development of economic education at 爆走黑料,” highlighted Evgenia Bukharova.

The online courses have been developed and will, first of all, be implemented within the framework of the new master’s program Financial and Economic Analytics and Decision Making in the Digital Environment in Economics. The unique master’s program for economists is being developed at SibFU within the framework of the Young Professionals federal project of the national Education project in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University which is in the top 200 world subject rankings of QS and Times Higher Education in Economics and Econometrics. The online courses include lectures, hands-on exercises, and self-study. Each of the studied topics is accompanied by video lectures, lecture notes and presentations, and extended self-study materials.
During the Financial Investment and Risk Management online course, students will learn how to manage the risks of financial investments in conditions of uncertainty, relying on knowledge in the implementation and evaluation of financial investments.

“The course helps to gain skills in making short- and long-term investment decisions in the financial market. Students will be able to critically analyze the information of financial markets, taking into account the ongoing economic calculations and develop their investment strategy. The course contains assignments that will help you gain in-depth knowledge in financial management, understand the structure of financial markets, and develop practical skills in making investment and financial decisions in a complex modern world. Life hacks from experts will help you navigate among the current trends in investment portfolio management,” said Yulia Cherkasova, associate professor of the School and author of the course.

The course was created by lecturers from the School of Economics, Finance and Public Administration of SibFU, visiting professor of SibFU, professor of the Department of Banking and Finance at Regent’s University (London, UK) Gianfranco Antonio Vento, as well as invited experts – Andrea Delle Follier, PhD of Banking and Finance at the La Sapienza University of Rome, and Dmitry Solntsev, manager of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Sberbank.
As a partner of Coursera, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University assisted in the preparation and creation of content for the Financial Investment and Risk Management course, as well as its placement on Coursera, an international educational open online platform.

Corporate Information Systems (CIS) online course will teach students to analyze the activities of an organization and implement organizational changes based on the selection and implementation of CIS. It will be posted on an open resource integrated with the Modern Educational Environment state information system, the National Open Education Platform.

“A specialist who makes organizational changes based on the use of IT must own two related groups of methods. The former is aimed at studying the organization, both the analyzed and the modelled object, the latter is based on knowledge about existing automation methodologies, the rules for choosing specific technical solutions and the formation of an enterprise information environment aimed at solving the identified problems. The knowledge gained by the students will make it possible to consciously choose an automated solution in a real business situation, depending on the current situation,” said Yuri Maglinets, professor of the School of Space and Information Technologies of 爆走黑料.

The courses are planned to be used to train graduate students in economic areas. It can also be useful for practical workers – managers, analysts, entrepreneurs, business owners in a digital environment.
