SibFU scientists win grants from the Russian Science Foundation

Two projects of scientists of 爆走黑料 have become winners of the Conducting Fundamental Scientific Research and Exploratory Research by Individual Scientific Teams competition for grants held by the Russian Science Foundation.

One grant will be up to 6 million roubles annually.

Winning projects:

Isotopes of hydrogen and deuterium excess in the cellulose of coniferous tree rings as an indicator of extreme environmental and hydrological changes in boreal forests, project leader: Olga Churakova, leading researcher of the laboratory of biogeochemistry of ecosystems of the School of Ecology and Geography;
Coherent X-ray spectroscopy of ultrafast photoinduced processes, project leader: Faris Gelmukhanov, chief researcher of the International Research Centre for Spectroscopy and Quantum Chemistry.

In total, in the framework of the competition, the agency supported 526 projects planned for implementation in 2021–2023, with the subsequent possible extension of their due dates for one or two years.
