The Potanin Foundation has summed up the results of the competition for lecturers in master programs. 爆走黑料 is among the leaders in the number of winners of the Grant Competition.
Six lecturers will receive a grant of up to 500 thousand roubles for the development of a master's program, a training course and the introduction of new educational practices.
The winning projects use cutting-edge technologies and innovations and aim at developing the digital economy. Many projects actively implement the principles of interdisciplinarity.
For example, an online course in Experimental Data Processing with elements of adaptive learning and management of an individual educational trajectory will appear at the School of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering in the framework of Petroleum Chemistry and Refining international master’s program.
“It is believed that in the modern world, it is necessary to know three languages: native, foreign (for example, English) and the language of communication with machines. This is the principle I built my course on. We give not only the processing of experimental data but also the basics of Python. In the era of digitalization, these skills are very relevant,” said the course developer, senior lecturer at the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, Mikhail Rybkov.
The new Applied Systems Analysis master’s program involves training in data mining methodology and skills in modelling of processes and systems, developing technology-friendliness and quick thinking. It is distinguished by the use of modern methods and innovative teaching. The structure of the program takes into account the needs of modern business in the analysis, modelling and optimization of systems in the context of the digital transformation of society.
“Students-researchers will gain skills in preparing publications of the results of research projects in the high-ranking journals included in WoS and Scopus, and participation in annual international seminars. Since this educational product is based on multilingual educational technology, it will be in demand by the Russian and international educational community,” said the winner of the Potanin Foundation competition, professor of the School of Space and Information Technology Oleslav Antamoshkin.
