“In any printing house, there is a so-called substandard. I mean waste paper that remains after laying out of the items. The non-standard size does not allow them to be used in production. But we decided to turn this waste into not very typical printing products. So, remnants of folders turn into sketchbooks, and cardboard pieces became covers for notebooks,” notes director of the SibFU's Publishing House Marina Lapteva.

The employees of the printing house intend to transfer the new products to the needy children. This will not be a one-time action but a regular one.

The Publishing House is sending:

• sketchbooks for drawing
• colouring pages based on the plot of our children's edition The Tale of the Book Teddy and the Book
• notebooks, and
• sticky notes cubes to the children's centre.
