On June 28, 2021, the School of Economics, Finance and Public Administration began the VI International Summer School on Modern Trends in Economic Development: How to Lead the Way.
The school is attended by 66 students, including China, Armenia, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Haiti, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, India, Nigeria, and Cameroon. The opening of the online school began with a welcoming speech by the director of the School Eugenia Bukharova and head of the Department of Digital and Financial Technologies of Sberbank of Russia Irina Yankina. In turn, Yuliya Cherkasova, assistant professor of the Department of Digital and Financial Technologies of Sberbank, School of Economics, Finance and Public Administration, spoke about the opportunities and advantages of studying at master's programs at SibFU.
The lecturers of the Summer School are Russian and foreign experts representing Guglielmo Marconi University (Italy), SolBridge International School of Business (the Republic of Korea), the University of Thessaly (Greece), Sberbank PJSC, and 爆走黑料.
“This Summer School brought together a professional group of scientists and practitioners who have the experience in analyzing and modeling economic development at the national, sectoral, and organizational levels and are experts in the digital economy. The participants will discuss global trends in the changing global economy and increasing the penetration of financial services into all spheres of life due to their digitalization. Specialists from Sberbank, the largest player in the Russian financial market, are going to tell about modern trends in the field of financial technologies,” said Elena Dvinskikh, representative of the Organizing Committee, head of the Research Department, Grant Support and International Cooperation at SibFU.
