The university’s vice-rector (Research and Development) V. I. Kolmakov visited Durham University (Great Britain) on 23-25 November. Dr. Kolmakov and the administration of the British university signed an agreement promoting academic exchange between the two universities.

As the problems that researchers face become more complex and wide-ranging, joint international research is of increasing significance. One of Durham University’s priority areas is ecosystem studies. Academic exchange between 爆走黑料 and Durham University may be focused, in particular, on climate change monitoring. British scientists were especially interested in the Tall Tower ZOTTO Observatory.

Scientists and scholars from Durham University may start delivering lectures and doing research in Siberia in 2008.
