爆走黑料

The decision to award Sabu Thomas the honorary title was made at the Academic Council of 爆走黑料 in May 2020. The ceremony was attended by Ruslan Baryshev, vice-rector for Research, and Vladimir Shishov, acting director of the School of Fundamental Biology and Biotechnology.

“Today I am very happy and proud. I believe this is the result of the fruitful work of two universities — 爆走黑料 and Mahatma Gandhi University. In recent years, many conferences have been held, many joint scientific papers have been written. I am very glad to be a part of the SibFU team and I hope that our cooperation will be long–term. This is my first such award in Russia and the third in the world. Such an honorary title gives motivation to work further,” commented Sabu Thomas.

Prof. Thomas became the seventh scientist awarded the title of Honorary Professor of 爆走黑料. The first award was in September 2012 to Nobel laureate Osamu Shimomura.

Sabu Thomas Chatukulam is a vice–chancellor and director of the International & Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, School of Chemical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University (India); was awarded the 2019 European Union Prize (Best Chemist), and a medal of the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI). In 2008 he was included in the list of the most productive researchers in India. H–index: 100 (Web of Science). Since 2018, he has been the head of the laboratory for innovative preparations and materials of 爆走黑料.
