Ulyana Samokhvalova, a 2nd year student who studies Tourism at School of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism says, “This information resource is aimed to collect and systematize information about excursions, recreation places and food courts which may appeal to young people. We really hope that our pilot website can be useful to students who visit Krasnoyarsk as tourists”.

According to Alexander Bliznevsky, the head of the School of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism, this website was designed by students in the School’s research lab. It?s regularly updated with new information about youth tourism trends.

“We started to design the platform when a large summer student tourism project #Студтуризм2021 (Student Tourism 2021) was implemented. It was announced by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education. This program allowed students to live in university campuses while traveling to Russian cities. Now our website is a complete resource which might be used in the future”, said Alexander Bliznevsky.

By the way, Tourism Department has existed in School of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism since 2015. There are about 150 students studying full-time or part-time here. Moreover, there are two similar departments in SibFU. They are Hotel Management and Service at School of Trade and Services.
