On September 7, 2021, a delegation of the Consulate General of Germany in Novosibirsk, headed by Bernd Finke, the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts, visited 爆走黑料. During the business meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of Russian-German relations in the research and educational sphere, the opportunities of cooperation with scientific and educational organizations of the Federal Republic of Germany in the field of teaching German language and popularizing German culture.The meeting was attended by Maksim Rumiantsev, SibFU rector, Ruslan Baryshev, vice-rector for research, Lyudmila Kulikova, director of the School of Philology and Language Communication, representatives of the Law School, the School of Business Management and the School of Economics, Public Administration and Finances, managing international cooperation.
The SibFU Rector noted that SibFU closely cooperates with research and educational organizations in Germany. “We have strong ambitions to develop linguistics, economics, philosophy and cultural studies. We keep in touch with more than 12 universities in Germany, for the last few years we have been holding two summer international schools together with our colleagues, SibFU German Language Center is working, and a joint educational program with the University of Passau has been opened at the SibFU Law School. We are very interested in the development of relations and I reckon that the climate established between our countries contributes to this”, said Maksim Rumiantsev, SibFU rector, in his welcoming speech.
