The choice was made among 75 universities. The rating is compiled based on the results of the last academic year. It takes into account such indicators as the active participation of students in the scholarship competition, the number of professors who won the grant competition, the participation of university representatives in the Academic Landing competition, etc.

According to Oksana Oracheva, General Director of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation, all universities included in the top 10 of the ranking showed a significant increase in the number of students and professors participating in the competition.

According to Maksim Rumiantsev, SibFU Rector, the university's entry into the TOP 5 ranking is the result of the systematic work of university departments responsible for academic internship, career skills development and interaction with industrial partners.

“The rating of the Potanin Foundation is unique because the first positions in it are occupied by universities whose students have shown greater activity and competence in completing competition tasks. But in order for talent to manifest itself, it is necessary to provide conditions at the university. On the one hand, we increase students' desire to develop practical skills, to enter the real cases of companies, to solve technological, economic and managerial problems of partners. On the other hand, the university has rebooted the system of interaction with partners and creating educational trajectories. That is, we have reached the level of communication that allows us not only to react to tasks - we ourselves offer our partners solutions that can help in organizing their production. And our students are active participants in these processes”, the rector emphasized.
