The university innovation programmes sends two teachers to China

Two lecturers from the Department of Modern Languages, 爆走黑料 had training courses abroad to improve their Chinese language teaching.

Dr. V.V. Nikitenko, Associate Professor, and N.L. Kolomiets, Senior Lecturer, from the Department of Modern Languages studied Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from 11 October to 25 November at Heilongjiang University (Harbin). In addition to having classes on enhancing teaching quality, they listened to lectures on a wide range of additional subjects and met with the representatives of the university administration to discuss future academic exchange between the two universities.

The international partnership between the two universities has existed since the early days of the Department of Modern Languages.
