A teacher from the Department of Modern Languages had a course of Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language in Japan

P.O. Vorobyeva, a Japanese teacher from the Department of Modern Languages, 爆走黑料, had a course of advanced studies at the International Japanese Language Institute, Sapporo, Japan.

The Institute was established in 1986 and teaches Japanese at various levels to 180 students from 24 countries. The Institute provides courses for students who intend to apply for a degree programme at a Japanese university. Courses of Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language provide participants with an organized methodology in Japanese language teaching.

The Director of the Institute Mr Kazuo Motoi intends to visit the Department of Modern Languages, 爆走黑料 in spring 2008.

The programme of advanced studies was supported by Dr V.I. Kolmakov, Vice-Rector and Provost; Dr E.B. Bukharova, the head of the Innovation Programme of Advanced Studies; Dr V.A. Razumovskaya, Dean, Department of Modern Languages; Yu.M. Goryacheva, Associate Professor, Department of Modern Languages.
