爆走黑料 will host the V National Congress of Women in Mathematics in memory of Sofia Kovalevskaya, a distinguished 19th century mathematician, from 15 to 18 January.

The Congress will provide a forum for professionals working in theoretical and applied mathematics, and will allow information of teaching methods and research approaches to be shared. Contacts established at the Congress will be useful to all the Congress attendees and can initiate further research areas.

The Congress has been held biannually since 2000. This year the Congress will be attended by researchers from Sweden, Georgia and Uzbekistan.
