Students from the Institute for the Humanities received a grant from the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation to support their work on developing a digital encyclopedia of native Siberian peoples. The digital resource demonstrates the variety of regional cultures and ethnic backgrounds. The project's objective is to collect information on ten indigenous peoples of Siberia, to describe and visually represent their food, clothes, weapons, homes, activities, myths, rites, religion and art.
