The most ambitious educational project in the world called ?The network-based University of SCO - countries? is on the run.

Russian universities and universities of other countries participated in the open contest of the . The contest was held in the following nominations: ?regional studies?, ?ecology?, ?power-engineering?, ?information technology? and ?nano-technologies?. Any Russian university could apply for the contest but only in one nomination.

By winning the contest, SibFU gains splendid opportunities in terms of international education and cooperation with Russian and Asian universities. Master’s programmes in ?Ecology? will be coordinated in 2009-2010.
