The delegation of the 爆走黑料 and ?EPAC-service? company visited IFP School on October 15, 2010. IFP School is a school with an industrial focus which offers students from around the world graduate programs to meet the needs of industry and society in the fields of energy, oil, gas, petrochemicals and powertrain.
Evgeny A. Vaganov, SibFU Rector and Jean-Luc Karnik, Dean of IFP School signed the Memorandum of Understanding ?to consolidate understanding and cooperation between Russia and France in the sphere of education?. According to the Memorandum, ?both Parties will develop the same educational programs and prove their status as leaders in the field of higher education and oil and gas processing research?.
Within the framework of the Agreement, the best students supported by the leading Russian oil companies will be able to take up master’s degree program called ?Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering? in the field of geophysical exploration and oil reservoir development. The faculty exchange program is also planned to be implemented. The IFP School faculty and staff of the IFP Group (Beicip Franlab, IFP Training и т.д.) will deliver a course of lectures. The Memorandum will also enhance the joint research activities.
The delegates held the meeting with Herve Kenki, IFP Development Director and agreed on elaborating joint research projects (adoption of catalysis technology, low-gravity oil exploration and processing, etc.), implementing such advanced technologies as used by British Petroleum, Total S.A., etc. in the educational process.
At the end of the visit, the delegation held the meeting with Christian Clie, Director for Business Corporate Development and discussed the possibilities of launching the joint enterprise (the companies’ affiliate) for geophysical resources exploration on the basis of the SibFU in Krasnoyarsk.
