爆走黑料 signed a Three – Party Memorandum of Understanding with the Groupe des Ecoles de Mines (France) and the UC Rusal on April 4, 2011.
Nicolas Masek, French Embassy Attache in Academic Cooperation, Pascal Formizen, Strategy Director on International Cooperation of Group of Mining High Schools (GEM) of France, Vladimir Polin, Director of Aluminium Division ?East? and Viktoriya Isakova, Head of the UC Rusal Office for Professional Training visited the SibFU to sign the Memorandum. Sergey Verkhovets, First Vice-Rector – Research and International Affairs signed the Memorandum on the part of the University. Sergey Verkhovets pointed out that ?the priority areas of cooperation will be focused on joint projects elaborated to upgrade production and R&D activities of the UC Rusal and organize training courses for the SibFU faculty and students. The innovative education will be highly promoted as well as joint educational programs will be established in accordance with the international standards. The international Master’s Degree programs on the base of the SibFU and the GEM are essential to integrate Russian higher educational institutions into the international system of personnel training?.
The training programs will be developed by the working team comprising the SibFU faculty and the GEM representatives. The UC Rusal will provide the team with consulting support. The programs on Metallurgy and other Engineering specialties will be supported with highest priority by the Company. Annually, 15-20 SibFU students will be able to get training courses in Paris within the framework of the program thus having an opportunity to be employed in one of 42 Rusal companies.
The Memorandum duration is 5 years from the date of signing.
