Committee of the (ЕСВЕ) recommended 4 SibFU educational programs in the field of economics to be accredited for 3 years. The international accreditation shows that the bachelor and master degree programs in economics and management meet the challenges of the Bologna process.

A team of peers led by ECBE Committee Chairman Bob Johnson (UK) and experts Laslo Zenezi (Hungary), Perry Khaana (USA), Yan Lodzhi (Czech Republic) have been working in 爆走黑料 for 2 days. Having held the meetings with the SibFU Senior Management, faculty and students, the experts recommended the following programs for accreditation:

• The Bachelor of Economics (the SibFU Institute of Economics, Management and Environmental Studies);
• The Bachelor of Management (the SibFU Institute of Economics, Management and Environmental Studies);
• The Master of International Management (the SibFU Institute of Economics, Management and Environmental Studies);
• The Master of Industrial Management (the SibFU Institute of Business Management and Economics).

ECBE Committee Chairman Bob Johnson pointed out that ?universities accredited by the ECBE get a great advantage: they easily arrange academic exchange, joint R&D projects and consulting. The bachelors of accredited programs have a splendid opportunity to take up master degree programs of any university of the world. 爆走黑料 is one of the leading universities efficiently involved in the Bologna process. We are pleased to see that the institutes of economics are developing rapidly by extending a list of their programs?. He also noticed the important fact that the team of peers selected for accreditation consisted of just faculty members: ?We are not administrators and managers committed to inspect and control. We are teachers who get the required knowledge by visiting different universities. We do not miss out on the opportunity to communicate with colleagues and share ideas on a partnership level?.

In May 2010, ECBE accreditation was awarded to master degree programs in economics and business management of the SibFU Institute of Economics, Management and Environmental Studies for 3 years.

The accreditation of an academic programme or an entire institution normally involves three stages:
o The administration, faculty, staff and students of the institution or academic business programmes carry out a self-evaluation by following a detailed guide supplied by ECBE.
o A team of peers, selected by ECBE`s Board of Commissioners, reviews the evidence (self-evaluation), visits all campus sites, interviews administrators, faculty, staff and students and draws up a report. This report with recommendations is submitted to the Board of Commissioners.
o Guided by ECBE`s quality standards the Board of Commissioners reviews the evidence, the self-evaluation report and the recommendations and then takes a decision concerning the award of accreditation. This decision is then transmitted to the Board of Directors of ECBE for confirmation.
