On February 12 and 16, 2021, representatives of 爆走黑料 held FAQ session for applicants from Japan and Argentina about studying at the university.

On February 11, 2021, the Permanent Deputy Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in the city of Novosibirsk Katrin Ebeling visited 爆走黑料. During the business meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of Russian-German relations in the research and educational sphere, the opportunities of cooperation with research and educational organizations of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Buenos Aires in cooperation with 爆走黑料 will present opportunities for obtaining Russian education within the framework of the Russian Federation's Government scholarship program.

On February 9, 2021, the Consul of the Republic of Korea in Irkutsk, Mr. Shin Kyu Ho, visited 爆走黑料. During the working meeting, he discussed cooperation with Anna Mezit, head of the International Department, and Maria Musaelyan, director of the Korean Centre, SibFU.

Senior researcher at the School of Ecology and Geography of 爆走黑料 and V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest (KRC SB RAS) Natalia Kirichenko co-authored a review chapter in an international methodological book (Springer publishing house) on new and previously known approaches to the study of leaf-mining.

Researchers from 爆走黑料 have identified the reasons for the lag of the Russian forest industry from the world leaders and proposed a new approach to the generation, storage, and systematization of statistical data on the dynamics of Russian forests and the forest economics. The scholars believe that their research will contribute to forming a long-term strategy for the sustainable development of the domestic forest industry.

The Olympiad will also be a celebration of the International Day of the Mother Tongue (February 21) and the Day of Commemoration of St. Cyril, a teacher of Slovenian, one of the ascetics who created the Slavic alphabet (February 27).
