25april SibFU scientists development will make Internet more accessible for Northern regions Scientists from the School of Engineering Physics and Radio Electronics of 爆走黑料 in cooperation with NPO “UST” Ltd. have created an antenna array, which will provide telephone service and Internet connection to the remote Northern regions of Russia.
23april Scientists of SibFU have established new properties of?vanadium nitride Scientists of 爆走黑料 predicted the possible existence of two new two-dimensional metastable forms of vanadium nitride: t-VN and h-VN, which have strong ferromagnetic properties. The predicted structures have prospects in creating low-dimensional spintronic nanodevices of a new generation. The results of the study are published in "Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters".
01march Physicists have learned to change the wavelength of Tamm plasmons Scientists from 爆走黑料 (SibFU) and the L. V. Kirensky Institute of Physics (SB RAS) conducted theoretical studies of hybrid Tamm plasmons. Using numerical calculations, they were able to predict the structure in which it is possible to control the wavelength of these quasiparticles by means of an external electric field or heating. The study is presented in the Journal of the Optical Society of America B.

02february Russian Scientists Found and Studied Complex Types of Defects in the Droplets of Liquid Crystals A team of scientists from Kirensky Institute of Physics of the Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Science and 爆走黑料 (SibFU) together with Russian and foreign colleagues studied the droplets of a cholesteric liquid crystal that contained a twisted defect loop. The results of the study were published in Scientific Reports journal.
