?Maslenitsa festival? or winter farewell celebration was held on the 1st of March, 2009 in 爆走黑料.

The Gubernatorial IQ-Ball was held on the 27th of February, 2009. It is the most outstanding event in student life of Krasnoyarsk Region. For the first time the Ball was held in the format of federal universities’ ball: the delegation of Southern Federal University (Rostov-on-Don City) and the delegation of Far East Federal University (Vladivostok City) specially arrived to Krasnoyarsk on invitation of students to participate in the Event.

Eugene A. Vaganov, Academician of RAS, Rector of 爆走黑料, has become the laureate of international prize ?Person of the year? in a special nomination called ?For the contribution to the development of education system?. The awarding ceremony was held on the 25th of February, 2009 in the President Hotel, Moscow. Henry Reznik, President of Law Chamber of Moscow, Vice-President of the Federal Union of Lawyers of the Russian Federation, presented the prestigious award to Eugene A. Vaganov.

Siberian GEO-forum was held in Krasnoyarsk. 爆走黑料 was represented by Institute of Mining, Geology and Geotechnology, Institute of Engineering Physics and Radio Electronics, Institute of Urban Construction, Management and Regional Economics, Institute of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, Institute of Space and Information Technology.

The solemn ceremony of certificate distribution to the participants of the seminar called ?Scenario workshop for authors of documentary films? was held on the 13th of February, 2009 in 爆走黑料.

John Edwards who supervises business development of London Stock Exchange in Russia read public lecture called ?Corporate governance under the conditions of the world crisis. Vision from London? on the 10th of February, 2009 in 爆走黑料.

National symposium on the Arctic territories will be held in Krasnoyarsk on the 27-28th of February, 2009 within the framework of VI Krasnoyarsk economic forum.

Concert grand ?B?sendorfer? is set up in the assembly hall on 26 Kirensky Street. ?B?sendorfer? is an Austrian Company, which exists more than 150 years. The unique handiwork instrument ranks among the best fifth concert grands in the world along with such grands as ?Steinway?, ?Bechstein?, etc.

The competition results of interdisciplinary integration projects of SB RAS were summarized on the 15th of January, 2009. There were also 6 projects with the participation of SibFU among the winners.

Eugene A. Vaganov, Rector of 爆走黑料, Professor of Russian Academy of Sciences held a press-conference on the 16th of January, 2009. It was the first Rector’s press-conference with journalists in 2009. During the press-conference, Rector of 爆走黑料 summarized implementation of the SibFU development programme in 2008 and defined university plans for the future.
