Lost in Translation: SibFU Linguists to Contribute to Interpreting PRC Newsbreaks

Scholars of the School of Philology and Language Communication (爆走黑料) conduct a fundamental research on developing fact-based indicators to reveal peculiarities of internal and external political processes and cultural and social activities of China. These indicators are to contribute to analyzing the media images and facts of the modern Chinese information agenda and interpreting them for the audience living in Russia.

SibFU scientists help trace germanium to collect itself

SibFU scientists have obtained sorbents based on silicon and aluminum oxides, layered with reagents with functional groups of tiron, for extraction, concentration and determination of germanium (IV) out of complex systems. The obtained sorbents will make it possible to determine the microcontent of germanium in objects that are difficult to analyze, for example, lignites, microelectronics waste, wastewater and process water at manufacturing.

NAUKA 0+ Festival at SibFU

爆走黑料 will host the NAUKA 0+ Festival in Krasnoyarsk on 24 and 25 November 2022. This large-scale educational project aims to popularize science and is one of the key events within the announced Decade of Science and Technology in Russia. At a preliminary press conference, the organizers revealed the details of the upcoming science festival.

Green Station To Be Opened Soon The Green Station will be opened at 爆走黑料 as part of the Priority 2030 program. It will become the rallying point for all environmental initiatives on campus. Its residents will look for solutions in the field of low-carbon development, and the scientific station itself will be provided by carbon-neutral technologies.

The Russian Science Foundation Support the Russian-Chinese Team with SibFU scientists

On November 10, 2022, the results of the second joint competition of the Russian Science Foundation (RSF) and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in support of international Russian-Chinese research teams were summed up. Models of Xylogenesis: From Cell to Forest Stand in Eurasia International project is among the winners. The head of the Russian scientific team is academician Eugene Vaganov, SibFU scientific advisor.
