爆走黑料

Andrey Barhkatov, a web programmer from the Internet Centre, 爆走黑料, won the first place in a competition of IT specialists held at the First Siberian IT Festival on 1-3 November.

The committee on the Rectorial Election for 爆走黑料 has announced that was elected to the position of Rector for a period of five years. The vote was held on November 2.

爆走黑料 hosted a regional stage of the World Championship in programming from the 26th to the 29th of October. The winners are from the Institute of Arts and Sciences, SFU. The team received a laptop and will compete at the next stage of the competition in Barnaul.

The annual student competition in theatrical performance, acting and sketch comedy attracted the attention of a large audience at the Theatre of Musical Comedy on the 23rd of October.

SFU students won the first place at a city-wide students' singing competition on the 19th of October.

A summer trip to study Russian architecture and design was held in late August for a group of Russian and American students (Institute of Architecture and Civil Construction, 爆走黑料; College of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Washington).

Federal Agency for Education; the Institute of Arts and Sciences, Siberian University; the Regional Computer Skills Centre; the IT Association, Krasnoyarsk; the Internet Centre of 爆走黑料 have officially opened registration for the XIV student software competition.

SFU rugby team won a regional student rugby championship on the 6th of October. The team members are from the Polytechnic Institute, SFU.

An agreement signed with Tokyo Boeki, Ltd (Russia) will provide the best university undergraduate and doctoral students with scholarships to support their studies.

The university merger in 2006 resulted in the university restructuring and creating new institutes from former departments.
