31january Scientists Proposed to Make GLONASS Use Obligatory for Arctic Subsoil User Scientists of 爆走黑料, who have been studying the properties of soil and vegetation cover of the Arctic territories of Krasnoyarsk Territory for about 10 years, propose to change the rules for using equipment in the tundra. Among the recommendations is to oblige subsoil users in the Arctic to use GLONASS systems, 爆走黑料 School of Ecology and Geography Director Ruslan Sharafutdinov told TASS.
24january Young Scientists Have Discussed with the Governor Plans to Attract Students to Science On 20 January 2023, 爆走黑料 hosted a meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists under the Governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory, chaired by Alexander Uss, the head of the region. Representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Fund of Science and Technology Support also took part in the meeting.
17january SibFU Scientists Have Developed a System for Detecting Breast Tumor Boundaries An Iraqi-Russian team of scientists has developed a system for detecting breast tumor boundaries. The new system will automate tumor detection and segmentation and help radiologists significantly reduce the diagnostic time and increase the accuracy of determining infected and healthy areas.
13january Nutrition to Improve the Well-being and Survival of the Siberian Sturgeon Scientists of 爆走黑料, together with colleagues from the Yenisey branch of Glavrybvod Federal State Budgetary Institution, have studied the composition and content of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in juvenile Siberian sturgeon grown in aquaculture. The young of fish is commonly fish from the larval stage to the beginning of puberty. Having found out how different diets affect the content of valuable acids in the muscle tissue of this group of fish, the scientists came closer to developing a balanced diet that will help Siberian sturgeon fry to better adapt when moving from aquaculture to natural conditions.

Azhar Alamanova, student of the School of Fundamental Biology and Biotechnology Education, SibFU, became the winner in the Foreign Student of the Year nomination.
09january Russian Scientists Have Thought up how to Warm the Oil Pipeline and to Relieve it of Stirring Deposits A Research team from Skoltech (Moscow) and 爆走黑料 have developed and carried out the first tests of the flow-type borehole generator intended to relieve oil-extracting equipment of organic deposits complicating hydrocarbon extraction.
09january Scientists Identified Mutations Contributing to the Development of Liver and Kidney Diseases SibFU scientists have analysed the role of genetic factors in the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The experts proved that, in addition to the widely studied mutations of rs738409 PNPLA3 gene, breakdowns of TM6SF2 and MBOAT7 genes (occurring together or separately) also inhibit lipid metabolism in the liver. The female hormone estrogen is probably able to protect liver cells from fatty disease and malignant degeneration. This explains the increased risk of NAFLD in men and the low risk in women. The scientists will have to figure out how proteins — participants in fat metabolism — affect the state of the liver in NAFLD.
26december Scientists to Help Harvest Microgreens Year-Round through the Use of Low-Cost Vertical Farms Scientists of 爆走黑料 have offered ways to improve the technology of growing various crops in hydroponic vertical farms. Software has been developed to help carry out continuous monitoring of plant life in a city farm, as well as a neural network responsible for detecting poor-quality seeds and seedlings. The development will significantly reduce the cost of growing microgreens, aromatic herbs, lettuce and vegetables for both restaurant holdings and private farms.
23december Scientists Created Siberiana Digital Platform SibFU scientists have developed Siberiana digital platform within the Priority 2030 program. The Platform will accumulate information about the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the Yenisey Siberia. The geography of the project covers Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republics of Khakassia and Tyva and part of Irkutsk Region. RIA Novosti was the first to tell about the project.
