02february Researchers from SibFU and the Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, develop a genetic library for forest insects Natalia Kirichenko, Associate Professor from SibFU and Senior Research Associate at Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, reported a rapid invasion of the lime leaf miner in Eurasia and developing genetic (DNA barcoding) libraries for quick and reliable identification of forest insects pests at the international which was held in Orleans, France, 17-19 December 2014.

17december Degates from Krasnoyarsk visit Changchun Sergey Verkhovets, SibFU's Vice-Rector (Research and International Collaboration), visited Changchun in North-Eastern China. Dr Verkhovets was among other Krasnoyarsk delegates who visited the Chinese city to exchange experience and develop collaboration, particularly, in research and education.
26november Master Plan for Universiade 2019 XXIX World Winter Universiade's web site published the Master Plan for arranging winter students' games in Krasnoyarsk. It gives an opportunity to learn about the main document that regulates arranging students' games.
11november SibFU's Master's programmes obtain international accreditation SibFU obtained international accreditation for its Master's programmes at the School of Business Management and Economics. Experts approved of the Master's programmes in Management, Economics, and Information Studies.
20october SibFU's students shortlisted for Russian-German competition of innovation projects Natalia Demyanova and Maria Sentyurova, Master's students from the Institute of Economics, Management and Environmental Studies were shortlisted for the final competition of Russian-German ?Young Visions Award? competition. The competition was hosted in Saint Petersburg from 22 to 23 September 2014.
02october Double degrees for the students of SibFU's Law School SibFU's Law School launched a Master's Programme with double graduation certificates. The agreement to this end was signed by SibFU's rector and the President of the University of Passau (Germany). This gives law students a unique opportunity to learn the legislation of both countries.
29september SibFU receives 3 stars in QS Stars Ranking SibFU received 3 stars in . This result has not changed since 2013 when the university was also ranked at this level. Quacquarelli Symonds Limited, a British agency, ranked the university by eight indicators. SibFU received the highest scores when assessed by the indicators of innovation, teaching, infrastructure, and demand for its graduates.
15september SibFU faculty member teaches at an African university Dr Stanislav Beletsky, Associate Professor from the Department of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication, spent three months teaching at the (Tanzania).
05september International experts approve Universiade 2019 Draft Masterplan Draft Masterplan to prepare for the XXIX World Winter Universiade 2019 was approved by the international expert group in Lausanne (Switzerland). Draft Masterplan was prepared by SibFU's working group and it was initiated by Krasnoyarsk krai's Governor. SibFU is the main partner of the Universiade's Executive Board. The agreement to this end was signed in June 2014.
